Borderless Arts Tennessee is excited to announce 3 amazing artist residencies taking place in schools right NOW! At the Tennessee School for the Blind, students are working on a Stop Motion project that is connected to Athena that we will share with the Parthenon in Nashville. At Jack Anderson Elementary, students are working on self-portraits that share how the world sees them and how they feel inside from what they have experienced due to COVID this past year. In Lenoir City, the students are working on a large mural that they hope to share in the community. Thanks to our artists Monica Leister, Dee Kimbrell and Alanna Rosen.
Funds for these residencies are provided through International Paperand a contract through the VSA program of the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
