Borderless Arts Tennessee was honored to receive prestigious Ambassadors of Goodwill from Tennessee Governor Bill Lee which was presented by Joey Barnett at our USO inspired show on Saturday night.
This award is for individuals and organizations that represent the State of Tennessee in a positive manner throughout the country and throughout the world.
This award was presented as a result of many years of international and national projects completed by Borderless Arts Tennessee, but the tipping point was our representation in Belgium this past summer paying tribute to our soldiers who fought at the WWII Battle of the Bulge.
We have spent the past year learning about this Battle and to the many contributions that the arts made to WWII as well as how the war changed the arts. This was done due to this being the 80th anniversary of that war.
Our USO inspired show on Saturday was a “near” culmination of the word from this past year. However, we do have a few more activities left to complete.
Thanks to our supporters who have helped us in these efforts to include The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, the Memorial Foundation, the Nashville Predators Foundation, Public Consulting Group (PCG) and Tony Brown.
