To say that Borderless Arts Tennessee fell in love with Iowa would be an understatement. Last week, we presented a piece of art at the National Balloon Classic. The piece of art was designed so that you would see corn if you looked at it from one direction, but you would see balloons if you looked at it from a different direction. The concept of the art was that there is so much more than corn in Iowa!
Our group was given the royal treatment as we were treated as VIP’s the night that we presented our art and put in a Sky Suite the next night. Some of the participants took a ride in a balloon and others did a tethered ride.
The hospitality and kindness that we experienced throughout the State was amazing.
