There were so many high notes as the Crescendo Music Institute had the privilege of visiting several top Nashville music venues and learn from industry leaders.

The group began its week at the W.O. Smith Music School where each participants received a mentoring session on their performance choices and techniques from Caitlin Anselmo, Carol Ponder and Tammy Vice.  Robert Kiefer provided stage presence tecnhiques and Bob Stagner ended the day with some percussion.

Day two found the group in the Board room of the Country Music Association learning about recording, producing and general music management from Misty Jones and Andrew Kintz.  During the lunch break, Logan Blade shared his story and sang a few songs.  Recording artist Lizzy McAvoy visited the group with a photo and autograph session. The group ended the day at the famous Studio A for a tour and sound engineering insights.

The week concluded at the Bluebird Cafe where songwriters Jerry Salley and Tammy Vice shared their craft.  Five of the participants also got the chance to perform their own original songs on this famous stage.  The final activity was led by Jerry and Tammy with the entire group writing a song together.  Everyone was invited to the stage and performed the song.

Special thanks to our partners: W.O. Smith Music School, Country Music Association and the Bluebird Cafe.
