Borderless Arts Tennessee offered artist residencies in Bartlett High School Brittney Brennan’s classrooms.  Dance artist, Jennifer James, taught the participants African dance to fit with Black History month.  All of the residencies are being done with a theme of using the arts to tell stories.  Dances in Africa were used for storytelling and communication.

The schools residencies are supported by International Paper, SouthArts and through a contract from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
