On Saturday, Aug. 22, at 10am Borderless Arts teaching artist Bailey Earith will lead a free workshop through Zoom on Australian Dot Art.
Dot art was used to tell stories and for sacred ceremonies by the Aboriginals in Australia. These were drawn in the sand or placed on rocks. In the 1970’s this became an art form that began to be placed on canvas.
Learn more about this fascinating art form while making your own stories through the dot.
This program is supported by Mark and Niki Antonini as part of the Teapot Diplomat Program
