VSA Tennessee had a day in the park on Saturday, July 29 from 10am-2pm. The day featured over 100 participants working on mosaic tiles throughout the day. The Nashville Predators and Gnash was there to help. Entertainment was provided by the VSA/Blair Dulcimer Choir, Movement Connection and Sarah Franklin. The first of 12 mosaic walls was unveiled. This project is done in partnership with the Hendersonville Parks Dept under the artistic direction of Yvette Renee. It is funded by the William N Rollins Fund for the Arts through the Community Foundation, the Tennessee Arts Commission, the Memorial Foundation and the Nashville Predators Foundation.
