What an amazing night last night as Borderless Arts Tennessee celebrated International Day of Persons with Disabilities to a packed house at the Sumner County Tourism Bureau.This is a United Nations Program. So many people to thank: Sumner County Tourism for being our partner in promotion and providing the location; The Sign Club for their lovely performance;Young Soloist Drew Basham for his amazing keyboard performance; Project 22 for their great performance; Tammy Vice for providing sound for the evening; Patty Daniels and her students at Beech High School for providing the food; Danielle Clement and the Movement Connection for their performance; Sarah McWhirt-Toler and the Dulcimer Choir for their performance; Dee Kimbrell for bringing the finished products of the Creative Critter project and the Corporate Arts Project; Yvette and Mark Cowden for the update on the Mosaic Wall and bringing the flower boxes for the sponsors of that program; Rep. Terri Lynn Weaver for attending and presenting a dulcimer to our Dulcimer Choir; Mayor Paige Brown for attending; Police Chief Donald Bandy for attending and accepting the Creative Critters; and my board members Mark Holcomb and Lori Ward for serving as greeters and with the ribbon making table. Thanks to Susan Lunsford Superczynski and the CAP program as well as Jennifer Morgan and her students at Beech for their participation in the Creative Critter project. Also, if you were there, thank you so much for being there and making this such a success. It was quite the night.
