On Thursday evening, the inaugural members of the Kalimba Khoir were inducted into this new program by world renown Kalimba player, Kevin Spears. Kevin then shared information on the instrument and gave a fantastic performance.
The Kalimba Khoir will officially begin on Oct. 10 under the artistic direction of Bob Stagner.
The inaugural members are: Adam Boyd, Austin King, Clinton Fyke, Erica McMurray, Hope McKee, Jennifer Scallorn, Jon Pfeiffer, Nathan Miller, Sarah Rachman and Torie Summers.
Some of the members were unable to attend the induction.
