June 22 was a special day for Borderless Arts TN as our participants went to a Nashville Sounds Baseball game and presented a piece of art to the Sounds. The art was created during a school residency with Station Camp Middle School under the direction of Dee Kimbrell.... Borderless Arts TN is beginning a new project that focuses on the Horse Heritage of Sumner County. On Wed., June 16 the group went to Lead Me On Farms to see the horses and learning about TN Walking Horses. The group began the project with photography of the farm.... The Dancing Beyond Borders Digital Dance Festival was a wonderful success! 88 individuals participated in this inaugural event. Special thanks to the TN Council on Developmental Disabilities and the Nashville Predators Foundation for their support of this project.... On June 5, Carlos Calderon offered two great workshops in making Peruvian hats and African masks at Memorial Park in Hendersonville. The Teapot Diplomat, visual arts program of Borderless Arts, showed their work at the Drive Thru Art Exhibit at Memorial Park in Hendersonville on June 5. Many sold pieces in the show.
