On Saturday, Nov. 14th, the Teapot Diplomats of Borderless Arts TN were invited to paint a parking spot at Mary’s Magical Kingdom in Hendersonville. Mary’s Magical Kingdom is a playground for children with special needs.

The group had to first decide on a design. Several designs were submitted, but the Board of Borderless Arts selected a design created by Hope McKee.

Hope and her mother Crystal created a template for the participants to get the basic design onto the concrete and then the painting began. This was an all day process.

Special thanks to Shelia Stewart of Recreational Concepts who paid for the spot and extended the invitation to Borderless Arts to paint it. Thanks also to Carol Ernst who provided us with paint and brushes. As always, thanks to the Hendersonville Parks for offering such opportunities.
