The Borderless Arts Tennessee Teapot Diplomats worked very hard last week. This piece is a representation of Norwegian artist’s piece known as “The Sun”. We have created this under the artistic direction of Lauren Emery Rudd. The art still is not complete as a sloop will be added as well as the 52 names of the first immigrants and the piece has to be sewn. A Lot of work. It has been amazing how engaged the group has been on this project and how hard they have worked….very focused. This will be presented to the Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum at the Nordic Fest in July.
