Borderless Arts TN Teapot Diplomats are working very hard to prepare art for the Frist Arts Museum Re-Pair exhibit that will open in August.
The participants are creating collage art in the style of artist William N Rollins. The art will represent devastation that has befallen Nashville in the form of the Flood and the explosion. Their art will also represent the resilience of the community to rebuild and repair from those disasters.
This project is under the artistic direction of Lauren Emery Rudd and taking place at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Also, thanks to Lauren’s friend Patty.
This group worked via Zoom on understanding the events that they were to depict and developing proposed sketches. This week they are working on the artistic creations.
The Teapot Diplomat visual arts program is a program of Borderless Arts TN supported by Mark and Niki Antonini.
