The Teapot Diplomats worked under the artist direction of Lauren Rudd on Saturday, Dec. 9 to create fashion with sound that would represent Australia.

The group viewed video about Australia and the Aboriginal Culture. They learned about the attire of the Aboriginal people and their music. The group designed and created belts with bells.

The Hear the Fashion project will take the participants around the world to learn about cultures on every continent through their fashion and music. The group then combines what they learn to design their own fashion.

This program is supported by a Tennessee Arts Commission grant and through the support of Mark and Niki Antonini.
