Where are the Teapot Diplomats?  Well….everywhere.

This group has been extremely busy.  Each month, the participants meet to learn new art skills.  They have served as the facilitators in a training session at Lipscomb, sold out of their art products at the TN Dept of Ed’s Partner’s in Education conference, and sent a piece of art to Detroit to be part of an exhibit celebrating the United Nation’s Rights of the Child.

Currently, they have photos and video of the costumes they created last fall in an exhibit that is part of a festival in Egypt.  They are also getting ready to work with individuals in Morocco and Afghanistan on an art and education exchange.

Just recently, the group was approached by a New York Fashion Designer to have some of their work printed onto scarves that will be sold in retail stores.
