Congratulations to Borderless Arts TN Teapot Diplomats who worked on the Horse Heritage program. The group presented one of the pieces of art that they created during this program to the Sumner County Commissioners as a gift and they received an award of excellence from the commissioners.
This project had quite a long trail. We visited 3 historic horse plantations, visited the Lead Me On Farm, LLC, created horse sketches, made marionettes, worked with glass on a piece that was given to the Bureau of Land Management and completed this piece. What a ride! So many wonderful experiences along the way.
Thanks to Anthony Holt and the Sumner County Commissioners. Thanks to Daisy Casey of First Horizon Bank for helping to set this up. Thank you Laura King for the photographs.
Thanks to an ABC grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission and to Mark and Niki Antonini for their financial support.
