Teapot Diplomats of the Borderless Arts TN program visited what is know as the Trifecta of the Horse Plantations in Sumner County: Fairview, Foxland and Kennesaw.
The group began at Fairview where Jeff Madison showed the group some of the mare stables. Diane Black took the group into the club house to show local horse art, showed them the spring outside the club house and some of the architecture around the plantation. The group was then taken to the old plantation house for a photo and also saw the old horse barns.
The group then went to Foxland where Sue Burgess shared information about the house and about horses from the area. The group had lunch and made marionettes.
The final stop was a quick photo opp at Kennesaw.
This is tying into a horse heritage project that the group is creating.
