Borderless Arts Tennessee is honored to announce that we will take 10 Borderless Arts participants to a United Nations briefing in New York City on Friday, June 12, 2020. At this time, participants will present a piece of art to the United Nations that represents our international art exchanges.
This is what is included in this trip:
1) $1000 to be given to the participant after the trip is completed. The participant may use this for travel, hotel, or any other expenses related to the trip.
2) Set up and entrance to the United Nations Briefing.
3) A ticket for the participant for a United Nations Tour.
4) A tour and art activity on Saturday June 13 at the Guggenheim Museum.
Participants will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements as we are aware that some may wish to extend their visit. Also, some prefer to drive and others prefer to fly.
After the group is selected, Borderless Arts will offer other options of sightseeing in NY City that Borderless Arts may arrange, but will be at the expense of those who elect to participate in those excursions.
Selected participants will be expected to participate in the art making session on March 2, 2020 at 4pm at MTSU. This is the art that will be taken to the United Nations.
Participation in the United Nations event will be a selection process. To apply, participants must complete the application below and return it no later than Friday, Nov. 8 at 5pm.
